For advisory and finance
Meet the three I'd hire before another associate
Set each one up once. They just run.
Nothing goes to a client or a regulator until you have read it.
The staff
Hire one, or all three. They hand work to each other, and every one of them is the same object with a different brief and different accounts attached.

the deadline I found out about late
An hour of it, as it actually goes
One Hand, one job, and the part where it stops and asks. Not every shift log starts in the morning, and nothing below leaves the building until you say so.
Escalate the signature one? It is the only one where the date cannot move. The other two have a week of slack. Nothing goes out until you say so.
In your words
Things people actually ask
- “What is due to the regulator this quarter, and what is still outstanding?”
- “Pull the last four quarterly statements for the Renwick account and tell me what changed.”
- “Draft the quarterly note for every client whose allocation moved more than five percent.”
Questions
The ones that come up first
Is it giving financial advice?
No, and it should not be asked to. It does the work around the advice — reading the statements, reconciling the positions, drafting the note, keeping the diary. Every figure it uses carries the document and the date it came from, so the advice, and the responsibility for it, stays yours.
What about client data and the record?
It stays on your machine in a folder you chose, as plain SQLite. Everything a Hand did is written down with its sources, which is the same thing you would want for a file review. Export is CSV, Markdown and transcripts, and the app is Apache-2.0.
Nothing here is a template. It is the same Hands, briefed for this.
