Hands

Triage

An AI assistant that reads your inbox and says what needs you

Reads all of it so you read less. Sorts what came in by what it actually wants from you, answers what does not need you, and hands you the short list that does.

What you'd say

Go through this morning and tell me only what actually needs me.

When it runs

Runs every morning.

What it uses

Gmail

Wants your mail.

Where it stops and asks

Before it answers anything on your behalf. It can answer the ones that do not need you, but that starts switched off and each kind is turned on by you.

How it goes

The running order.

Every step lands in the record with a time and a source, so you can read what it did instead of asking.

  1. Read everything in
  2. Answer what does not need you
  3. Summarise the rest
  4. Hand you the short list

Questions

The ones that come up first.

Does it reply to people as me?

Only if you turn that on, and only for the kinds you choose, such as a meeting confirmation. Until then it sorts and summarises, and you reply. Everything it did send is in the record.

Will it miss something important?

It sorts by what the message actually asks of you rather than by sender or keyword, and it shows you the whole short list, not a summary of a summary. The ones it was unsure about are marked as unsure.

Where does my email go?

The messages it reads go to the AI model doing the work, as with any assistant, and are never used to train it. Your inbox is connected with a grant you can revoke, and a Hand in one company cannot read another's mail.
