Hands

The unsubscriber

An AI assistant that unsubscribes you from the lists

Gets you off the lists. Finds every list you are on, opens the unsubscribe page in a real browser, and does it — one by one, and shows you the ones that would not go quietly.

What you'd say

Unsubscribe me from everything I have not opened in six months.

When it runs

When you ask. Brief it in a sentence, any time.

What it uses

Gmail a browser

Wants your mail, and a browser.

Where it stops and asks

At any unsubscribe page that asks for a login or a reason it cannot answer honestly. It shows you the ones that would not go quietly rather than clicking anything it would be guessing at.

How it goes

The running order.

Every step lands in the record with a time and a source, so you can read what it did instead of asking.

  1. Find every list you are on
  2. Open each unsubscribe page
  3. Do it, one by one
  4. Show you the ones that would not go

Questions

The ones that come up first.

Will it unsubscribe me from things I want?

You set the rule, such as anything not opened in six months, and it shows you the list before it starts. Anything you mark stays.

Why a real browser?

Because most unsubscribe links lead to a page, and the page often has a form. It opens each one, does it, and records that it did, so the list of what it could not do is honest.

Is this safe to do in my inbox?

It opens links from senders you were already receiving mail from and never enters a password. The ones that look like phishing it leaves alone and tells you.
